Y’all, blogging is hard, but I refuse to give up. I’ve always had a fond appreciation for bloggers who juggle full-time blogging with a full-time “corporate” job; that appreciation has now doubled! How do you all do it? How do you find time to blog after a long AF day? I’m utterly impressed.
Let’s catch-up a bit, how has everyone’s summer been? What have you all been up to? Tell me everything!
Last month S and I rented a car and drove 13hours to the east coast (Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts) with our pup to visit family. We spent the week on the beach, capturing sunsets, going to afternoon tea and shopping at local boutiques. (A full recap and travel guide on coming soon). The time spent in Rhode Island made me homesick, there is really nothing quite like summer in coastal Rhode Island.
Here are some highlights via Instagram pics.
This is one of my favorite places to catch a sunset, Napatree Point.
I mean, these views tho! Also… the treats!
Castile hill is one of my favorite places in the world. I wish I got married here.
I’ve been doing a lot of reading this summer, here is my summer reading list…
The Alchemist– Read (So many inspiring quotes in this book. #MirrorMessage worthy)
Outlander Series (1-3)- Read (I’ve also watched the TV show… #JamieFraserForever)
A Man Called Ove– Read (Holy tears… this book will warm your heart and ever single inch of your soul).
Pretty Girls– Halfway through (okay.. so I started listening to the audio book for this one on our drive back from Rhode Island, it’s pretty EF’d up).
All the Light We Cannot See– Currently Reading
I’m reading a lot of books with “girls” in the title….
Has anyone read any of these? I would love to hear your thoughts and other book recommendations. Leave them in the comments!!
Before I bid adieu, I would recommend anyone who has Starz to get on the Outlander train… the man that plays the character Jamie Fraser is delicious!!
Until next time,
